I really enjoyed this series, it allowed me to escape into another world and take a break from my stressful life for just a couple hours at a time, which I really appreciated. I loved the characters, the relationships that continued to get stronger with each book in the trilogy. I loved seeing the new relationships and side characters and would love to see a spinoff story/world because the amount of time and effort that went into this world building was incredible and I wouldn't want to see it end.

So I won't give things away because this was the pinnacle and finale to this great trilogy. I couldn't get on board with one of the former awesome characters, no matter what she did, she couldn't redeem herself in my eyes. There are some losses, there always are with wars, so be prepared. I didnt see one coming and it hit me right in the feels. Also the epilogue was amazing and made me so happy!! If you loved books 1 and 2, you will be happy with the finale (below are some things that made me drop it from a 5 to 4 stars since I didnt think it was the strongest of the bunch unfortunately). The continuing powers development was amazing, I loved this world and the things the author created ❤️

I will say this wasn't my favorite of the 3 books and I was a little let down with some things in this one, which is why I docked it from 5 stars to 4. Some of the flow and consistency with characterization wasn't as strong in book 3 as it was in book 1 and 2. I can't really explain more without giving stuff away, but some characters revert back/do things that arent consistent with their previous behavior and actions. Some things we were waiting the whole series for were rushed which was sad, made it a tad anti-climatic which is opposite of what this great build-up was.

In terms of the narration, I thought they did a good job. Again one of the guys accent/performance shifted a bit, which was frustrating at times (sometimes he sounded posh while sometime she sounded normal like one of the other guys). One of my favorites continued to jump in my fav list, especially with the performance in this audiobook. Overall fabulous job ?

Overall I would give the series 4.5/5 stars, I am definitely going to check out more by this author, she is definitely risen up my TBR list after devouring these audiobooks.
