About this audiobook

Still bitter about his failed engagement and life on the family ranch, Ian MacKenzie has been cranky for nearly three years. His brother Mack’s married bliss hasn’t helped, and now his pregnant sister-in-law’s airhead best friend is coming for a visit.

Candice arrives to help with the new baby, even though it means swapping her Louboutins for snow boots and her flat irons for flannel. She’s far from prepared for the freezing cold and she certainly wasn’t expecting the sizzling heat of her attraction to a certain green-eyed cowboy. Ian may be rude and infuriating, but he looks sinfully good in those jeans of his.

The two clash at every turn, but there’s one thing they can both agree on—if they do give in to their undeniable chemistry, then it’s just a fling…because he’s a country boy and she’s a city girl, and their zip codes are on opposite sides of the map.

Liked the first book much more. This one is VERY funny, the female character is awesome, but the male character is underdeveloped and plays pretty much just the supporting role to the female character. The book is made from a female POV only, so that takes further away from the male character.

I'm totally amazed. Even though I liked Shine not burn a little bit more, this was an amazing book. Candice was just wow and she made me laugh so hard at times. I'm also happy that Ian finally found what he was looking for. This book was nice to read because as huge fan of Mack and Andie, it was nice to see what was happening in their lives.
I enjoy Elle Casey's way of writing and I hope that I can read some other books from her. I warmly recommend this book to anybody who just likes cowboys, romance and humor. These books are full of all of those things and I hope that I can read something this good later in the future.

I think this book made me laugh more than any other book I have ever read. The inner workings of Candice's brain are mind boggling and absolutely hilarious! Candice is in Oregon visiting her BFF and hoping for the birth of her friends baby while she's there. Dealing with the always cranky Ian MacKenzie is just something she'll have to do! Before long, she's not only gotten Ian to laugh again but she is ready to take on the entire town!

I couldn't possibly describe the story anymore and do it justice. This is a book everyone should experience! I highly recommend it.
