About this audiobook

Put a finger down if you've ever been a single woman who got stuck in a New York City elevator in the middle of a summer blackout with your former high school sweetheart while pregnant with a baby that isn't biologically yours. And you can't believe how handsome that blast from your past is, so you unwittingly flirt with him a little even though your life is so crazy complicated, but you think you could totally still be in love with him. *puts a finger down*

What? Just me? Needless to say, my current status is thorny.

Even though he's the epitome of tall, dark, and incredibly handsome, Remington Winslow has been a single bachelor for most of his life. It's cliched and basic-until you consider the fact that once upon a terrible time, he got left at the altar.

And I'm just trying to survive a tangled web of unexpected motherhood and running one of the top real estate firms in the city that never sleeps.

He's the jaded guy who doesn't want to settle down, and I'm the career-focused woman with more baggage than a 747 can hold. We're just two friends who used to be in love.

Now, if someone would tell my hormones I'm not a teenager anymore, I'd be set.

Contains mature themes.

Second chance, friends to lovers and pregnancy trope.

All tropes that are some of my least favourite on the trope scale but they were done exceptionally well!

I loved Remy and Maria and their little family unit with Izzy. The story between them is something that I've not read before and I thought Max Monroe executed this extremely well. Their romance restarted at the end of the third book but they had already had a romance during their teens. I appreciated that they didn't have any conflict or spiteful feelings toward each other, it made for a really enjoyable and easy read.

The Redo is very saucy and spicy with a build-up to their new romance. Remy has so many different sides to him and during the pregnancy, he is the sweetest man around. He is extremely proud of Maria and he makes that known throughout. It really helps build the relationship and their appreciation for each other.

It was very humour filled and Cleo getting involved and meddling rounded off the story. She likes to send everyone into chaos with her vague answers or statements. The Redo is a great book to end the series and now I need to dive in to some of the side characters books because I miss this world.

5 stars Narrator, Charlotte North, spoke with a lisp which was a distraction. Liked the story and sad its the last book in the series. Many of the main characters appear as secondary characters in the Bad Boy Billionaire series. The characters also appear in the St Luke’s series..
