About this audiobook

Declan

I'm destined to become the next CEO of my family's media empire. The only problem? My grandfather's inheritance clause. Fulfilling his dying wish of getting married and having an heir seemed impossible until my assistant volunteers for the job.

Our marriage was supposed to be the perfect solution to my biggest problem. But the more we act in love for the public, the more unsure I feel about our contract. Caring about Iris was never part of the deal. Especially not when breaking her heart is inevitable.

Iris

My plan to marry Declan was simple in theory. Move in together. Throw a wedding. Have a baby. We set rules to prevent any kind of issues. Ones that were never meant to be broken, no matter how much Declan tempts me. But what happens when our fake relationship bleeds into our real one?

Falling in love was never an option. At least not for me.

Contains mature themes.

This book was so amazing, so good! That I would sign all the terms and conditions it throws my way. LOL. Book one was great, and book two had me swooning, kicking my feet, measuring things, and waiting in the rain looking for that one man. LOL. I can't wait to know what's my "Final Offer" pun intended LOL.

I love the arranged marriage trope. The backwards story just hits different. Here, I had a problem with Iris and her motivation to get into one with Declan. For him, it's simple: he wants to fullfil the necessary condition to become the CEO. But Iris? She just wanted to help him achieve his goal. This would be fine if it was just the marriage, but having a baby?! Girl, it's just too much to simply volunteer once the vetted candidate backs out.

Moreover, I just didn't vibe with the female narrator. For me her voice just sounds too mature for a character in her twenties. I loved Jason's narration for Declan. He was detached, emotionless at times and commanding, which fit perfectly with how I have imagined the character to be.

Iris is a character has some nice backbone. I loved how she didn't cower. All her realisations about her work life balance were so spot on. You get into the motions and only when you look back at all the sacrifices, you are able to see that the effort and payoff didn't add up.

The getting back my girl part was so sweet. I'm happy with how their story ended.

A good fake marriage romance trope, I enjoyed the development of the charcaters and the issues they faced and eventually overcame.
I really enjoyed the representation of dyslexia in this book, the difficulties or FMC needs to work through; and I found so sweet what the MMC does for her.
Both the 1st and this book were very grumpy and sunshine duo ? I also enjoyed she already had a relationship with the brothers, specially the youngest, and they were best mates, think that's cool.
Unfortunately I listen to this on audio, and I found the female narrator quite lacking, her voice lacked emotion so that took some of my experience listening to this book.

I’m with majority of the reviewers about Iris’ narrator. Her voice isn’t an issue for Iris but her aggressive swallowing is distracting and it’s not like it’s fitting with what’s happening in the plot to say it was an interpretative choice. Also her accent for Mr. Yakura threw me off…the story itself is like a more toxic inverted version of The Proposal which I love!

I thought the storyline was good but the female narrator ruined this book for me. Her voice was hard to listen to for so many hours and when she read the male part it was even worse. I probably would have given this a 4star review if the female narrator was easier to listen to.
Maybe just grab the book or read on kindle.

Absolutely horrible female naration. I ended up fast forwarding her parts many times, I just couldn't bear is anymore..she must be at least 50 years old and her male voice sounded like a 70 years old man in pain. This butchered the whole audiobook.
The only thing kept me going was the male narrator, he did an amazing job!

But still can't get passed that someone approved and produced this audiobook in this form.

The story was ok. But buy the book or read it on your Kindle instead of this.

The story line was great but I could not stand the female narrator. She is so difficult to listen to; her male voice is horrific and her diction becomes very hard and snappy at times. Such a huge let down for the book.

I loved it. I enjoyed the book very much. The narrators worked well for me. The maturity and professionalism they need for the roles they were reading for work perfectly. I dont understand everyones complaining about the narrators. I dont think the actor sounds old. Some of us just have mature voices.

everyone said this book would be my favourite in the series, but i still cannot stop thinking about rowan and zahra from the first one, so i loved seeing their cameos in this. i appreciated how fleshed out these characters felt, each of them had so much personality, and they were all so distinct from each other. bring on book 3!

It has a very engaging plot. Declan's character is very appealing. The way love develops between the two is what keeps you hooked page after page, not wanting to stop reading. Without a doubt, it is one of my favorite love stories. (Translated from Spanish)

This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review.

    Introduction
Terms and Conditions is the second in the "Dreamland Billionaires" trilogy and I absolutely had a blast with this one here. In fact I loved it just as much if not MORE than the first book and I absolutely adored "Fine Print" so to have a book that just was even better was just phenomenal. There is something so charming about the writing style of this author and I think its crazy how popular they have become. But they are worth the hype and they are true romance! This book also features some of my favorite tropes to have in a romance and in a contemporary it was so fabulous to be able to read. I will guarantee that you will laugh and cry and cheer these characters on and just wear your heart on your sleeve while reading them! That is how good they are!

    The Main Protagonists
    The Hero:Declan
    -Alpha Male
    -Billionaire
-Doesn't believe he is worthy of love
    -Bossy

    The Heroine: (Heroine's Name)
    -Proactive
    -In love with her boss
    -bitter against relationships
    -Secretary/Office Assistant

    Summary
This story begins with our heroine, who is at the engagement party of Declan, when his fake posed fiancee runs for it and leaves them hanging. Declan must marry and have a child in order to get the CEO seat according to his grandfather's will. Then when Iris sees what is needed, she jumps in and claims the title for herself. She cares for Declan and knows how important this is for him, and is determined to make this work with him. But Declan is a hard boss and he will make an even harder husband. At first its all about business and keeping it practicall but Declan finds himself falling for Iris, a woman who is making him face his feelings and the heart he thought he had buried away. But now he must prove to Iris he is worth taking a chance on when every man previous has hurt her...

    My Outlook
Terms and Conditions was everything that I was hoping for and more! I absolutely have a soft spot for a good marriage of convenience and I love seeing this trope in contemporary romance. This was so well done, I just loved the relationship between Declan and Iris. It was just so funny to see them fighting their feelings each other, when its always been there, both of them have been too afraid to admit it. It was quite interesting seeing the way in which they have to face up to the truth. But getting there won't be an easy road for them, and they both will have to take a leap of faith in love. Seeing two practical people find love together was a adventurous road that is for sure. But we have these small moments that are slowly built throughout the story that gradually brings them together. These "moments" were the best parts of the book because it just adds that intimate touch to the story that just fit them so well. I especially loved seeing our hard alpha male of the trio of brothers fall so hard for his woman and its a crash landing lol but the way he is willing to fight for her was brilliant and was so endeared by it.

    Overall View
Terms and Conditions is a brilliant, feeds your soul and delivers all the witty laughs to get you eager for the finale, you definitely will be blown away by this installment!

There were a thousand reasons why I said Declan didn't deserve Iris, and then he gives me a thousand and one reasons why he does deserve her.

I swear I couldn't stop fangirling over this book. I devoured it in a matter of hours; it's so addictive.

Some of the clichés included are: arranged marriage, boss and assistant, sunshine/grumpy, and I hope these are enough reasons for you to read this story. You won't regret it. (Translated from Spanish)

When the fiance that Declan hired to be his wife and the mother of his child abruptly leaves, Iris knows she is the only one who can step in and fill that role. Declan accepts because according to his grandfather's will, he must marry and have a child before becoming permanent CEO of Dreamland Enterprises. Iris has been an exceptional personal assistant, so Declan goes along with the crazy plan to make her his wife even though they don't love each other, but it isn't long before close proximity and a newfound understanding of each other, brings feelings to the surface that neither one of them previously recognized.

Terms and Conditions is a better entry in the Dreamland Billionaires series than The Fine Print. While the relationship between the two main characters is similar to Zahra and Rowan, the banter between Declan and Iris seems much more realistic and believable. Unfortunately, the characters are not as developed as well as they could be, making it difficult to connect with them.
Continuing the method this series has employed of raising issues of representation, Iris is dyslexic and her challenges become part of the story. As with The Fine Print, this theme could have been a much more important part of the story. However, overall, Terms and Conditions is an entertaining rom-com with likable characters and an enjoyable plot.

Without a doubt, this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster; it's an addictive book that leaves you wanting more with every page you read. Iris became one of my favorite female characters; her ability to move forward, her intelligence, she is a role model. Declan is a character that takes your breath away. Their relationship develops in an electrifying way, and their moments together managed to move me. 4.75/5 ⭐ (Translated from Spanish)
