About this audiobook
Elizabeth Ashburn is madly, deeply, irrefutably in love with her best friend. They know each other better than their own minds. There is only one problem: To him, she is Little Lizzie, and nothing she does seems to replace the idea in his mind. No matter. It is her first Season and she is determined to make a match with a gentleman-any gentleman-who will help her steal her heart back from Oliver Turner and his sea-blue eyes.
Oliver Turner can remember the exact day that Lizzie grew up. And now, he cannot see her as anything besides the beautiful woman stealing his breath-no matter how much he needs to. He won't marry her. He can't. He loves her too much for that. Now, he simply needs to help marry her off so that she will officially be out of his reach.
Sarah Adams
Sarah Adams always dreamed of being a writer and was finally able to write her first novel when her daughters were napping and she no longer had any excuses to put it off. Her hope is to write stories that make people laugh, maybe even cry, and definitely leave them happier than when they started. A coffee addict, British history nerd, and mom of two, she is married to her best friend and was born and raised in Nashville.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I liked the idea of the story at the beginning. Listened until chapter 24(ish) at 1.5x speed because the narrator was one of the slowest I’ve encountered, then skipped to the end and didn’t miss anything. I’m no snob but the writing was really quite lacking and the characters and their storylines felt a bit too contrived- especially near the end when everything was wrapped up suddenly in what seemed only a couple of paragraphs!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Friends to more is not my favorite type of story, but I really enjoyed this one. I did need to speed the narrator up slightly, but other than that the audio version was pleasing to listen to as well.
