About this audiobook

Jonathan Cahn, author of the New York Times best sellers The Harbinger, The Mystery of the Shemitah, The Book of Mysteries, and The Paradigm, now unveils The Oracle, in which he opens up the Jubilean mysteries and a revelation so big that it lies behind everything from the rise and fall of nations and empires (even America), to the current events of our day, to the future, to end-time prophecy, and much more.• Could an ancient prophecy and a mysterious ordinance given in a Middle Eastern desert over three thousand years ago be determining the events of our day?• Could some of the most famous people of modern history and current events be secretly linked to this mystery—even a modern president of the United States?• Could this ancient revelation pinpoint the events of our times down to the year, month, and day of their occurring?• Could a mysterious phenomenon be manifesting on the world stage on an exact timetable determined from ancient times?• Could these manifestations have altered—and now be altering—the course of world events?

    Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

That’s what reading this book felt like. I have no trouble attributing amazing connections and plays on words to God, but in this case the pool of data was so large and the length of time so expansive, I don’t belong it would have been any harder to make all these connections as it would be to connect another random actor to Kevin Bacon.

Besides the above commentary, this was simply a poorly written piece of literature. I’ve read three Jonathan Cahn books now. The first was good (The Harbinger) but the last two (this one and Return of the Gods) were like drinking out of a tainted fire hydrant.

Finally, I believe that trying to establish historical evidence in the form of a fictional narrative weakens the historical evidence because it leaves the reader wondering how much of the “historical evidence” is actually fictional to keep the storyline going. That is why a rich resource page is vital to such a work.

Amazing, it all fits together. The grand design. Miracle on top of miracle. I feel blessed to have read it.

I find his knowledge and ability to explain scriptures, prophecies and historical events remarkable. While I have the ability to quibble over details regarding any topic, I found this book truly breathtaking. However, I struggle with his use of a “Christian novel” to tell his story. His made up visions seem ripe for confusing with the true biblical visions.
