As a Christian I wholeheartedly agree with the central message. But I am disturbed by the added visions, prophecies, revelations, dreams, and characters portrayed as biblical. The reader should beware to distinguish “poetic license and story telling” from scripture.

Excellent and thought provoking info. My only disagreement is that I do not believe that all of this stuff with 9-11 “just happened” as the author contends. To delve deeper into the story and believe that it was orchestrated by humans would be too horrific for most people to understand and accept. The humans that run this world and have an agenda to promote believe they are God over the rest of humanity.

I'm sorry to give such a critically acclaimed book a mediocre review. I thought the premise of the book was great; the execution, not so much. It was unnecessarily repetitive, annoyingly so. The revelatory component was strong but the writing was disappointing. The narration by the author was also disappointing.

I like the book overall. As far as the form and the way the book is written it is interesting. But also, at times it seems overly repetitive and he drags out a lot of points. The people can’t seem to get a sentence out of their mouths to respond to a question. It takes two questions for them to make a point!

“And now we come to the second.”
“The second what?”
“The second witness.”
Instead of just saying that it is the second witness! That just bothers me after it happens a thousand times.

Now about the content and message of the book. Take all these words in with a sound mind. This book has many prophecies and “signs” in it and lots of the signs are stretching the scope and focus of the Bible. The overriding message of repentance of the nation and people is undoubtedly biblical. However, these prophecies over America are not to be made more important or exalted than what God has already said in the Bible. He bases six of the end times signs on ONE SINGLE verse of the Bible. Also, in the Revelations God always prophecy’s over the world for the end times and not specifically one nation. The Harbinger is a prophecy over one nation, which does not line up with the way God revealed the end times in revelations. My advice to you is simply to read the Bible for yourself and trust God with the rest. Never read this book to know the end times! Only God knows the appointed times. Read this book for some cool insight, an interesting story, but as prophecy? The whole thing may be true yet my question to you is if that really matters over trusting God? And over repenting to God out of LOVE, and not out of FEAR that the end times will ruin you.

If Jonathan Cahn is trying to get non-believers saved then I would advise him not to do it by telling everyone America is going to fall if you do not repent and turn from evil. At the end of the day, people don’t care that you know, until they know that you care. Show others the light that is in you and they will want what you have. This is my review of the book.
