I wasn't too sure about this title at first as it didn't seem to grab my attention right off the bat. After listening to a few chapters, however, it changed my mind. I presume it just took awhile for the introduction and assimilation of each of the characters and their place in the story. I'm a retired Paramedic of 30 years, so the medical aspect of it drew me in even further. The next thing I knew, I was going to bed at 04:00 because I didn't want to stop until I finished. I'm glad I stuck with it, I'll be on the lookout for other titles by this author.
