He is known for creating the The Gray Man series which follow the adventures of former CIA operative Court Gentry. A film adaption of The Gray Man is currently in production by Netflix, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Winter Soldier, Extraction, Avengers: Endgame), it’s the highest budget film ever produced by the streaming network. 

Greaney also collaborated with Tom Clancy on the legendary novelist’s final books, and he has authored and co-authored seven Clancy novels in the Jack Ryan series. He collaborated with Lieutenant Colonel H. Ripley Rawlings IV for the standalone novel, Red Metal.

His latest novel Relentless is the 10th in the Gray Man series, and follows Court as he attempts to uncover an international conspiracy after the mysterious disappearance of several intelligence officers around the world.
