This week, Jack is joined by Hollywood actor, TV show host and former Army Ranger Tim Abell.

Tim joined the military at the age of 17, eventually becoming US Army Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment. His five years of military service included time with the 3rd US Infantry "The Old Guard" Caisson Platoon.

After the Army, Tim went on to start acting and producing.

Tim’s breakout role came as Marine Scout Sniper Benny Ray Riddle in the Jerry Bruckheimer television series Soldier of Fortune, Inc. He’s starred alongside James Caan and Daniel Stern in Dead Simple, appeared with Mel Gibson in the war film We Were Soldiers, and has been featured in TV shows including CSI Miami, NCIS, and JAG among others. He was also the host of the long-running Outdoor Channel hunting series, Grateful Nation.

Tim co-produced the award-winning film Soldier of God and served as an associate producer on the film Miracle at Sage Creek, in which he also starred. Tim is also acting in a number of upcoming movies including American Desert, Young Lion of the West, The Colony and Shooting Star.

During this conversation, Jack and Tim discuss The Terminal List, Tim’s career, the importance of bringing authenticity to roles, and a lot more.
