About this audiobook
Until he meets Dr. Ken Miles.
Doctor Ken Miles is having a fantastic year. His hard work is paying off in a big way . . . professionally. But his social life? Not so much.
Until he meets Steven Thompson.
Steven isn't so sure about Dr. Miles, but Ken is one hundred percent certain about Mr. Thompson. And even though both men know full well that the key to getting what you want out of life is hard work, they can't seem to make them-together-work.
Will they ever get on the same page? Or just keep sticking to the same old script?
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not the best in the series. I have enjoyed almost all Penny Reid world books.
The narration is slow and hard to listen to. awful Tip.. slightly better at X1.5 speed - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a great addition to the Knitting in the City world. Dr. Ken Miles has unexpected depths, and Stephen is a delight.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Overall a perfectly lovely story. I haven't read other books in the same universe - this really didn't matter regarding the main story line with Ken and Stephen, but at times, I would have needed more context to Stephen's relationships and work life.
The narrator was very good and really helped bring the characters to life. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The two MCs were sometimes infuriating e.g. when Ken thought Steven would automatically know he is interested in dating even though he had never indicated he was bi-. Steven was even ore infuriating with his secretive behaviour and his excessive self preservation tactics but in all of that they wree both very lovable. They were both good people trying to navigate their way through life and trying to find love. The stalker situation was terrifying. Stalkers hive me the heebie jeebies no matter how harmless they may seem physically- it is their minds that are terrifying. Ken's coming out situation was very complicated I do get their point but I am firmly on Ken's side on this one. Who he dated at any given time shouldn't negate his sexuality.
The story had a tad too many supporting characters but I felt like it was a very good stroh it sug i to rela human fears and challenges. It also showed how people can lash out when they feel vulnerable. I lobed the HEA especially with Ken's family fully accepting Steven.
BTW what's up with the narrator's Scottish sccent when his characters were Americans?
It was a nice accent yes but it felt unsuitable in representing the characters.
