- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow! Loved this book. Well written, characters are well developed, intriguing storyline, clever and witty. It has everything from romantic, to thrilling to erotic and more. The voice over acting is top notch too. I highly recommended!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Brilliant! Fits perfectly in the «Knitting in the City» series. My only critique, is that I did not love the narrator for the male characters' American accents... I feel like some homework could have been done to better match the tone and speech of past «Knitting in the City» series male protagonists (sometimes they sounded like mobsters from the 1930s). The narrator for the female character was perfection !

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love Shane and Gabriel 's chemistry! Their witty dialogue is so funny and adorable. And I love the fact that it's part of Penny Reid's world, so old favourites pop in to make an appearance.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Smartypants productions never disappoint! This is my second read of this book…fun, sexy, with relatable characters, and an engaging plot. Narration is excellent!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Promotes bias toward police, conservatives and gun owners. Very disappointing.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I like the book very much. But with audiobook, why did they cast a white older guy to voice a black young man... that's just upsetting.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The accent was pretty high born and didn’t match the character. Also some of the mystery aspects got a little but convoluted in their descriptions. Other than that I liked the story itself.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5There were parts that I really enjoyed about this story, parts that were preachy and sort of demeaning towards men and parts that just seemed to go on and on. The storyline itself is good and unique. I think it could have been a couple of hours shorter and I wish the MC had been a bit less high on herself. Confident women are definitely sexy but she was just too confident and self patronizing for me. I will read another book from this author as not every story will reach a reader. The number of 4/5 Star reviews tells me that she has a good following!
