About this audiobook

Libby

I found Killian drunk and sprawled out on my lawn like some lost prince. With the face of a god and the arrogance to match, the pest won't leave. Sexy, charming, and just a little bit dirty, he's slowly wearing me down, making me crave more. He could be mine if I dare to claim him. Problem is, the world thinks he's theirs. How do you keep an idol when everyone is intent on taking him away?

Killian

As lead singer for the biggest rock band in the world, I lived a life of dreams. It all fell apart with one fateful decision. Now everything is in shambles.

Until Liberty. She's grouchy, a recluse-and kind of cute. Scratch that. When I get my hands on her, she is scorching hot and more addictive than all the fans who've screamed my name.

The world is clamoring for me to get back on stage, but I'm not willing to leave her. I've got to find a way to coax the hermit from her shell and keep her with me. Because, with Libby, everything has changed. Everything.

Contains mature themes.

Killian and Liberty have a unique romance. I enjoyed listening to their romance but it was long-winded at times. However, I thoroughly enjoyed how the story started away from all the cameras and lights, just being two normal people. It gave off small-town vibes and I really wanted to see their relationship blossom. But then the real world had to come into play.

I enjoyed Liberty being straightforward with Killian instead of falling for his famous persona. I always find it a bit cringe when a musician sings towards his muse but it's always the case with this trope. Their hidden relationship didn't seem to last two seconds but at least they tried and I did enjoy the sneaking around, it always seems to add to the tension and build-up in the relationship.

The bedroom scenes were fire and at every moment possible there was one thrown in. Killian and Liberty are wild ones in the bedroom when they get started.

This was a good listen. However, after listening to the whole series, the character’s varying accents in different books is distracting.

I cannot give this book a fair rating. It's not my genre of preference and i didnt want to read it to begin with. I just had to read book one so i could get to book two, which looked more interesting.

The story was pretty basic. I generally like Kristen Callihan books, but this one may be my least favorite. Rock star, Killian, feels cliche and i don't get Libby at all.

Had fun moments. Overall middling for me in every way.

Cute. Unique in the fact that we had a faithful rocker.
