- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I thought the main character was hilarious in the first half of the book and the wit was sprinkled through the second half. Everything about the plot was predictable, and really not about modern “arranged” marriages. There is always the choice to say no. Families do not lose face as they had in decades before. Also I found the book somewhat deeming to Indian culture. Still however I liked it for the humor and a fast read.
