The story was worthy, plot, everything. There was mild chemistry between the couple. But waiting until the last 5 minutes for the first kiss was frustrating.

The main character’s arguing and misunderstanding of each other was way over the top. Narrator didn’t vary in her voices at all and sometimes sounded like she was voicing a commercial not a novel.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? No

The back story... The h's father dies and the ridiculous provisions of the Will set the h off. She immediately hates the H, even though he had nothing to do with the provisions and told her that he would not cause any issues for her.

The Romance... It does exist but the h's constant antics kept getting in the way.

The drama explosion... The h reads a letter from her father
Did it feel real or contrived? Real but actions were contrived.
Was it OTT? Yes
Separation involved? No
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok

Final Notes... It is OK for a MC to start off as shallow and vindictive but that should start to lighten before the mid point of the story. It also helps if we get a better understanding of why the MC is acting out without enduring the behavior for the bulk of the story. This could easily have been a 4 star read for me as the author definitely has a talent for writing.
