About this audiobook
He's a devil of an angel. She's an angel of a demon. Angels and demons don't mix.
Azazel should have extinguished the deadly Lilith when he had the chance. Now, faced with a prophecy that will force him to betray the memory of his one true love and wed the Demon Queen, he cannot end her life until she leads him to Lucifer. Finding the First is the Fallen's only hope for protecting mankind from Uriel's destruction, but Azazel knows that ignoring his simmering desire for the Lilith will be almost as impossible.
Rachel Fitzpatrick wonders how Azazel could confuse her with an evil seductress. She's never even been interested in sex! At least not before she set eyes on her breathtaking captor. And now she can't think about anything else-besides escape.
Rachel stirs a carnal need in Azazel that he never thought he'd feel again. Falling for a demon-even if she has no idea she's the Lilith-means surrendering his very soul. But if he lets her go, he risks abandoning his heart, his dangerous lover, and possibly all of humanity, to Uriel's deadly wrath.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Hmmmm..... I didn’t really have a favourite part but I still have a 4 star. I feel like there were glaring plot holes and everything was clear as mud. ?? ** testing bitch face**
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I actually pick this book series up as a replacement for my L.A. Banks Vampire Huntress Legends Series and was quickly surprised, sonrisa.... I was quickly caught up in the writer's vision of fallen angel's and the whole order of the way God, Heaven, Earth and beyond worked....I gave the 1rst book in her series a 5 estrellas out of 5....I was completely drawn in and captivated from beginning to the very end. I even reread it before I started on the second one in this series..... I am one of those reader's who will follow an Author, their series or at least try other books within their author's works/library.... I'm now reading the second installment of this series, and I have to say that I am not as taken in with the two main character's "Azazel and Rachel aka Lilith" as I was with "Raziel and Allie" in the first installment..... I am finding it very hard to continue, but will do so just because I always finish what I start and I'm hoping that the story surrounding these two character's will blossom into a stronger and more powerful existance..... I like being swept into the books that I read so much so, that I loose all tiempo and place outside of the actual story.... I love being lost within what I'm reading...I will for now give this book a 3 estrellas out of 5..... "My update" I have 2 say that I am so very happy that I continued the secound book "Demon" in this series, sonrisa...I truly loved the book and I can't wait 4 the next one in the series......
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I wanted to love this book, I love Anne Stuart and her dark heroes, but something just wasn't right. I liked Rachael, she was dealt a rough hand but she didn't wallow and did the best she could. Azazal was interesting too, it was fun watching him struggle against himself when it came to dealing with Rachael. The Dark City, that was introduced, was creative and interesting. What irritated me was the narrative shift, first person then third person, it pulled me from the story. Then there was the sudden grand moments, like when Rachael says 'I love you'. All he did was make her cry and try to kill her and she says 'I love you', I was totally mystified as to why. Then he betrayed her and in the span of a few pages he's forgiven. Then the forced seduction, I never take that well. She had a history of rape and he forced her into a position she was very uncomfortable with, and she struggled while they were having sex but he didn't stop. There were so many issues the characters had to deal with and I felt they were glossed over. And what about the prophesy? The story just ended after a big fight. This could have been great, and yet I'm looking forward to Michael's story.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Bought for MyselfOverall Rating 4.25 Wine GlassesCharacter Rating 3.75 Wine GlassesStory Rating 4.50 Wine GlassesCreativity Rating 5.00 Wine GlassesNOTE: I am going to be upfront and say this story will not work for everyone. It is dark, the hero is an *ss, and it takes major liberties with the Angel/Demon Mythology. In my opinion, Kristina Douglas has woven a fantastic world with a bit of creative brilliance that really, to steal a saying from a friend of mine, rocked my world! What I Loved: I won't give anything away so this section is going to be short but know that I can talk about The Fallen Series for hours. The world that Kristina built is on one hand very familiar, filled with angels/demons names that we know and may have preconceived notions of. On the other hand, Kristina has taken that world and made it her own in a way that quite frankly floored me.What I Liked: The light hearted moments were few and far between in this book but they were much needed. There were a few times I laughed out loud and was cheering at Rachel as she/said thought things. In fact, it was the character of Rachel/Lilith that I felt connected to from the beginning. She was who I cheered for, cried for, and really rallied for the whole story.Complaints: I didn't like Azazel, not even a little bit, until the very end. Even then, I only gave him a pass because Rachel did. I will say that there are a few times where that line of forced vs choice come up in this book just like the first book. It is a matter of perspective but it does happen again---this is my warning mostly for Melissa :)Why I gave it a 4.25: I absolutely love Kristina Douglas' story telling capability. This story kept me interested from beginning to end even though I didn't like the hero! I can't wait for Micheal's book!
