About this series

My name is Mary Fallon, I'm eighteen years old, and a few months ago, I came to Egypt to visit my best friend Carol. As it turns out, I never left, because I fell in love with a young Archaeologist, and with God, whose immense love I first experienced in a dream when I took a nap in an ancient tomb. I can hardly believe I'm an Egyptologist's Admin now, living luxuriously by myself in an apartment on loan to my boss by the mysterious Matthew J. Waters while he's away in Europe.

Being in Cairo is thrilling, but I'm also beginning to realize how dangerous it can be. My lucid dreams are intensifying, and they seem to be making me more lucid in my waking life as well because I'm rationally questioning concepts I always took for granted, reincarnation for example. Carol is expecting a baby, while I'm expecting and hoping Steve will soon be more than just my boyfriend. The only problem is that Owen, a beautiful yet sinister lucid dreamer, can't seem to take no for an answer.

REVIEWS:

"I read through the three books back to back, I was so enthralled by them!"

"Maria Isabel Pita really suckered me pretty good with this series. I thought her first book, the Spirit of Imhotep, was a "mummy" tale. You know, kid goes to Egypt, heads into a pyramid, wakes up some slumbering monster and all heck breaks lose. That was not the book at all. Nope. But I still listened to it, because she writes an interesting story. She writes from her spirit, you really feel that as you listen to the narration. Pita's semi-autobiographical story really moves you. Even I, a manly man, was touched deeply by this journey."

"I've read all three books, and feel like the characters are friends I've known for years. Have grown fond of them and can't wait to find out what happens next! Maria's writing is riveting, and the story pulls you along leaving you wanting more."

ALL THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES ARE BASED ON REAL DREAMS AND EXPERIENCES I was supposed to start college next year, but after being given a ticket to Cairo as a high school graduation present, I skipped the ceremony and jumped on the plane. My name is Mary Fallon. I'm eighteen years old, and for as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by ancient Egypt. I'm staying with my best friend, Carol, who's working as a photographer in an Old Kingdom burial ground, where her Egyptologist boss is on the trail of a major discovery. But someone much more powerful than the Antiquities Department seems to have gotten wind of it and, for some mysterious reason, he is also intensely interested in me and the dreams I have begun having. I could never have imagined the experiences awaiting me here in the ancient land of the pharaohs, including having my first lucid dream. You see, I'm discovering that Spiritual Warfare isn't a video game but the reality we live in, both awake and asleep. You won't find the front lines on any map, because the battles are fought in our hearts and minds, and some of them can be dangerously pleasurable. It's a good thing I'm not fighting alone. Listener Reviews: "There are elements of lucid dreaming woven into the story in a way that leads on into deeper themes and thoughts.... A great listen and, as expected, Maria’s voice is liquid gold." "I love that Maria Isabel Pita narrated her own audiobook. She has a beautiful voice and displays not only a wonderful ability to write but also excellent voice acting skills. Definitely recommended." "Fascinating book that lures you in with the author's vast knowledge of Egypt's history. Really enjoyed the Maria's narration. Her spirited recount of experiences while in Egypt brought the vivid descriptions to life."

My name is Mary Fallon and I came to Egypt a few weeks ago, fulfilling a lifelong dream. I was also visiting my best friend, Carol, who had magically scored a job photographing tombs in the desert. So many intense things have happened since I arrived, time has flown by and my tourist visa is about to expire. But I have no intention of leaving Cairo, where I've fallen in love with an archaeologist, and with another man who lived over two-thousand years ago, but that doesn't matter, because he also happens to be God. My new boyfriend is already making plans for me to stay. Meanwhile, he's treating me to a cruise down the Nile, during which I'm discovering that something ancient still walks among us, a seductive enemy who enjoys playing with my most thrilling dreams and desires. But the cost of fantasies becoming reality might be what I truly want from life. The problem is that my body cares only for the present, and possesses a dangerously hungry will of its own. LISTENER REVIEWS: "A glimpse of modern day spiritual warfare in the flesh!"  "Maria's tastefully sizzling Book Two made these Winter days warmer for me! I fell into the story so deeply, the final page was a sad parting from characters I've come to care about as friends. Not every writer has the ability to drop their readers so remarkably into a scene, but Maria makes me feel as if I'm there, seeing with my own eyes." "The spirituality in this book is palpable... Miss Pita is also the narrator and it makes the book all that much more moving, meaningful, and real. You'll feel like you've taken a long spiritual journey, and end up doing some inner reflection. This is a good thing."  "An incredible read and very thought provoking. I really enjoyed the ride of emotions.... humor, drama, suspense, intrigue, passion... complex loveable characters... it's all there in this wonderful series."
