Slow down…

And come deep inside. 

Let your breathing slow you down,

As your body melts deeper into comfort,

With every breath out. 

LONG PAUSE…

Breathe…

As any thoughts arise,

Just let them pass by,

Like leaves floating in the breeze.

Passing by,

And drifting away.

LONG PAUSE…

If we stay here long enough,

Our bodies will lean towards the sun,

Seeking out its warmth,

And bathe in the rays of life it provides. 

PAUSE…

If we connect with our true nature,

And get off the spinning wheel of tasks,

Our roots will plunge deep into the Earth,

And drink up the nutrients in the soil.

PAUSE…

If we eliminate our modern approach,

To how we should be fulfilled,

Our lungs will fill with magical oxygen,

And fuel us with endless energy.

LONG PAUSE…

We chase the sun because it feels good,

And makes us stretch and grow. 

We chase the sun because we know,

That it’s our true north and directs us where to go. 

PAUSE…

Chasing the sun fulfills us,

In a way no accomplishment can.

In its light, we’re connected to all things,

And energy flows throughout. 

LONG PAUSE…

Raise your face to the sun,

Let it guide you more than your lists.

Bask in its warmth and love,

And melt away meaningless worries. 

PAUSE…

Let your naked feet touch the Earth.

Feel the wet, soft grass,

And the stones of all shapes.

Feel her energy rise from below,

And charge your body.

PAUSE…

Chase the sun today, dear one,

This pursuit will make everything else align.

Breathe in the warmth, 

The energy,

The wisdom.
