Description

There is much to say about probiotics and postbiotics, especially their role in immunity, disease, and most importantly, gut health. There is a multitude of tests available to analyze your gut health. One of the many biomarkers we need to monitor is beta-glucuronidase. What is beta-glucuronidase? What does it do? What does it mean if you have too much or too little of this enzyme?
Today, we discuss what postbiotics are and why beta-glucuronidase is a critical biomarker for gut health. We explain what beta-glucuronidase does, how the body makes it, and why you can have too much of it. We describe the possible conditions a person may have if they have too much or too little of this enzyme. We also discuss some of the supplements you can take which can help improve your beta-glucuronidase levels.
