As someone that’s been running his agency for almost 10 years, it’s clear that Mason’s experience gives him a unique insight in to Webflow as a platform and community. Mason talks about all sorts of different topics - how a rising tide lifts all the boats within the Webflow community, how anger is a gift, how Edgar Allen is working to be the tip of the spear for the enterprise market and ambitions for 2023.The 3 failures we talk about are:I failed the third grade. it was a painful time in my life, and I spent most of my time under a desk. (literally sitting under my desk) I struggled through school but in some ways I learned a lot about perseverance. (It kind of made me better at sales)At my last job there was a time I embraced the idea of 'fail harder'... it was a nice motto but it also feed into this idea of hussle culture. Long story short I in the end did fail harder... and was fired from my last job.When I was first starting my business I was working from 4:00 AM until 11:00 at night.
