Description
When the dust settled after the end of Gillian’s dietetic internship, she realized she had been in survival mode and ignoring symptoms with her period for awhile. Now a registered dietician, she began to notice 55 day cycles, fatigue, mood swings, and horrible cramps.
She knew her period was a great source of information and that her symptoms were telling her something was off. Because her symptoms weren’t the traditional PCOS symptoms of weight gain and hair in unwanted places, she didn’t originally consider PCOS.
Through the PCOS Protocol, we began working together to help find answers to her tough, irregular periods.
In this episode, Gillian discusses all the changes that made a world of difference in her cycle, energy, and mood, including doing the Dutch test and implementing targeted supplements, getting her blood sugar in check, accountability from the protocol, and incorporating strength training.
Now Gillian experiences regular 32 day cycles with no PMS symptoms. She has renewed energy and life feels much brighter!
