Description

I’m SO happy you’re here for today’s conversation because it is EXTREMELY important to  know what’s normal & what isn’t. Our culture has made CRAMPS & period PAIN something that women should just “DEAL WITH” & “TOUGHEN UP” about because “that’s just what happens when you get your period.”⁣This is SO MESSED UP on SO MANY levels.⁣⁣Not only does it MINIMIZE the STRUGGLE & PAIN that some women go through on a MONTHLY basis, but it NORMALIZES something that ISN’T NORMAL.⁣⁣This makes women IGNORE an underlying problem that could be serious (such as ENDOMETRIOSIS).⁣⁣Mild/moderate cramping can be “normal.” If they are MINOR cramps you can tolerate & don’t need to take any medication/pain relief for.⁣⁣BUT if you’re having INTENSE CRAMPS where you’re reaching for Midol or even more intense medications, you can’t get out of bed, or you’re getting nauseous from the pain, that is NOT NORMAL.⁣Pain like that could be a SYMPTOM of ENDOMETRIOSIS which is an INFLAMMATORY disease that shouldn’t be taken lightly.⁣⁣THANKFULLY there are NATURAL ways to heal your Endometriosis & get rid of the pain.??⁣⁣One of my clients with endometriosis went from a 10 (on a scale of 1-10 of pain)to a 2! WITHOUT MEDICATION⁣This shift happened from implementing an ANTI INFLAMMATORY diet & a supplement protocol for her specific needs.⁣⁣⁣So THERE IS HOPE & there are NATURAL ways to accomplish this.⁣ ENDOMETRIOSIS is an INFLAMMATORY disease so healing it needs to be done by REDUCING INFLAMMATION. 3 things to AVOID to reduce INFLAMMATION: Alcohol: alcohol increases estrogen levels & disrupts blood sugar (check out this episode for more info on alcohol & hormones!)Dairy: dairy inflames our gut which prohibits our gut from being able to eliminate our excess hormones. There are also hormones in dairy that latch onto our hormone receptors leaving our own production of hormones floating around in the bodyGluten is also super inflammatory to the gut (check out this episode on more information about how the gut connects to hormones) Gluten alternatives: quinoa, oats, brown rice, millet, amaranth.Dairy free cheese brands: Kite hill, miyokos, good planet.WAYS WE CAN CONNECT! Come hangout with me on instagram @corinneangealica Join my FREE TEXT COMMUNITY to get weekly HORMONE HEALTH & MINDSET TIPS texted right to your phone!PRODUCT LINKS! Want professional grade supplements for 10% off?
