Description

How we were parented as children is the single greatest influencer of the attachment style we exhibit in our adult relationships.  Since it's how we were parented that affects our attachment style, having this awareness now as parents ourselves is so valuable.  We can’t intervene in a world we can’t see, right? So just by listening to this episode, you’ll start to have a basic awareness and understanding of your attachment style, which can empower you to begin to heal from the hardships of your childhood, which is going to improve your relationships.  In this episode, we’ll discuss the 4 attachment styles and you’re going to resonate with at least one.  Your attachment style isn’t a diagnosis or a label, but rather it’s about gaining an understanding of the reasons why you do the things you do. In identifying the reasons that you have a particular attachment style, you’ll be able to start to heal some of the traumas that led to that style, so you can become more secure and grow deeper and healthier in your relationships. I’m your host Michelle Grosser, a certified Trauma-Informed Master Life Coach, attorney, professor, wife, and mom. I’ve been there - right where you are. I was an attorney running a busy law firm by day, law school professor by night, all while trying to parent my kids, pour into my marriage, and keep up my home - and what I found was that I was on the fast track to burnout. The good news is that there’s a better way. Each week I’m going to coach you on the work that builds an epic life. We’ll discuss all things motherhood, mindset coaching, and emotional well-being so that you can create a life designed by faith over fear. Get ready to learn about regulating your nervous system (and why it’s so important), setting boundaries, worthiness, true self-care tips, work-life balance, imposter syndrome, parenting, and how to harness your mama-bear intuition. This podcast will elevate, empower, and equip you as a human being and a mom. It’s time to extend yourself compassion, re-focus your intention, raise your vibe, and alchemize the parts of you that will lead to a deep spiritual transformation.
