Description

Today’s podcast guest is Elisa, a member of Molly's All In Intensive coaching program. In this episode, Elisa talks with Molly about how she finally let go of diet culture's obsession with quick results and developed a sustainable relationship with food that is free of chaos and fear. With coaching, self-determination, and a supportive community, Elisa's relationship with food has changed from obsessive and out of control to quiet and peaceful. She shares how the support of the group and professional guidance allowed her to beat the resistance she had towards changing her relationship with food and recovery. She will also discuss how this change led her to develop a more compassionate relationship with herself. Getting into a peaceful relationship with yourself and food is important because it's a relationship you'll have for the rest of your life. Change doesn't happen overnight, despite what diet vultures say. The reality is that change affects everyone differently and at different times, but learning how to feel your best with food and your health long-term is worth the effort. Elisa is a beautiful example of the long-lasting change that can occur when we honor our truths and proceed at our own pace. Episode Quotes: “If you lean in and say, you always have to be in a relationship with food, then what’s the rush? If you want it to be lasting, you can't be scaring yourself with all this ultimatum shit that we do.” - Molly “I’m learning how to live life on life’s terms without turning to the food, and it’s actually been a lot more than that. I know how to go figure out an emotion now.” - Elise Key Highlights: What has changed in Elisa's relationship with food and herself The guiding principles Elisa followed to achieve true change How Elisa overcame the resistance to change her relationship with food How Elisa's compassion for herself has been strengthened through this process What led Elisa to add professional guidance to help her reach her goals What inspired Elisa's commitment to herself and her dedication to the program What has changed the most for her since she completed the program How Elisa sustains her progress on a daily basis  LOTS of EXCITING stuff going on over at https://mollycarmel.com - but most important, if the podcast resonated with you today and you want to join the ALL IN Intensive Coaching Program, use the code ALLIN11 for 11 percent off from 1/11-1/17/2023!
