EPISODE 36 - Having recorded a week earlier before the air date, Clark, Hyung and John took the risk in guessing which team would make it to the Super Bowl – all of them were dead wrong about one of their picks. But they still had fun predicting what would happen to the rookie card value of each of the four QBs if they made it to football's biggest game. For this week's Hobby Headlines, the guys discussed what real world news could impact the value of sports cards in light of the recent Baseball Hall of Fame induction news. For example, does entering the Hall guarantee a nice bump in card value for that player? How about having a docuseries (ie. Drive to Survive) air on TV? Would that catapult prices of certain F1 drivers because of the success of the show? Or would major sporting events like the Olympics or the World Cup be enough for certain cards to gain value because the athlete is participating in the aforementioned events? 
John introduces a new segment to the show called "Hockey Highlights" where he breaks down his Top 5 list of vintage hockey cards to invest in as well as Top 5 list of modern hockey cards to invest in. Do you agree with either of his lists or did he omit a key player?
And as usual, the guys end the show with the weekly Pick One segment – the Hot Takes edition. This week's Pick One pairs are: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will hit 50 home runs vs. Fernando Tatis Jr. will hit 50 home runs; Joe Burrow cards will go to the moon if he wins the Super Bowl vs. Ja Morant card will go to the moon if he win the NBA Championships; Connor McDavid rookie card values will surpass Wayne Gretzky's one day vs. Patrick Mahomes rookie card values will surpass Tom Brady's one day.
