Description
EPISODE 192 - Clark, Hyung, and Will open the show discussing whether they will buy more blaster boxes of the 2024 Topps Series 1 upon hearing the news that redemption cards for signed memorabilia will be inserted into them exclusively. Or will they stick to the hobby box which guarantees either one autograph or one relic.
Then for Hobby Headlines, the guys break down the New York Times article featuring Michael Rubin titled, "Will Fanatics Upend the World of Sports Collectibles?"
They go through several points to see if they agree or disagree with some of the quotes about the state of the hobby coming from Rubin, as well as CEO of Fanatics Collectibles Mike Mahan.
Afterwards they do another round of "Just A Thought" segment where they brainstorm and workshop (often silly) ideas to improve the hobby (ie. name match cards??)
Lastly, they end the show with "Pick 1" where each of the guys puts up two cards and then they debate which they'd rather invest in.
