Description
I was delighted to welcome to the podcast LA Olympic Bronze Medallist and Sports Manager to the likes of Adam Peatty and his niece Emma McKeon, to name a few, all round nice guy - Rob Woodhouse.Hailing from Melbourne, Australia and now based in Glasgow, Scotland, we discussed Rob's swimming journey from early days in a small 4 lane indoor 25m pool in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, to the heights of a bronze medal in the 400 IM at the '84 LA Games and now to his work as a Sports Manager at TLA and his commentary work at world swim meets. His journey took him through the Australian Institute of Sport in its heyday, and we chatted about the infamous training sets of those early 80's. Swimming has been Rob's life, first as someone who reached great heights in his career, to now helping today's athletes with their own swimming journeys. If you are a swim geek like me, you will love this pod chat down memory lane.Connect with Rob:LinkedIn: Rob WoodhouseConnect with Torpedo Swimtalk via:https://www.torpedoswimtalk.com/Enter the Torpedo Swimtalk Masters Swim Meet here:https://vmeetswim.com/
