Description

We asked you guys to send us some lockdown specific questions for this week's 2:00 Drill, and you didn't disappoint. We tackle whether gym members should be paying full price right now, limiting words, and how to avoid getting too down during these stressful times.Find us on social: Ben || PatrickQuestions Answered:01:20 - During the quarantine, we’re all trying out best to stay sane, positive, & healthy. But there are & will be days where those things will be a challenge. Do you have any tips on how to bounce back quicker when you realize you’re starting to struggle?07:20 - When our gym closed, I had 4 friends over to my house to workout. A neighbor typed up a note & told us to stop working out together for the sake of the community. At what point is it more important to exercise than not? I’d rather workout than avoid all human contact.09:40 - Before this, my training was going very well. Training consistently for six months, twice a day, sleep & nutrition on point, mindset and recovery going well. But since everything changed, I’ve struggled. I have all the equipment I need to train, but the usual volume was breaking me down. I feel like I’m struggling to find the right balance again.16:15 - You guys have talked about how, when CFNE was opening up, you offered lifetime memberships to some people. Would that be a viable option right now, in an effort for some gyms to stay afloat & get through this?19:15 - What has changed operations-wise at CFNE & CompTrain? How as the EOS system been altered, if at all? How are you adjusting?23:00 - While gyms are closed, do you think we should still be getting charged at the full rate?26:00 - What do you & Ben think about the feasibility or likelihood of a Peloton-like CrossFit experience?28:10 - What advice do you have for coaches who currently don’t have a gym to train their clients in?30:30 - You’ve talked about the dangers of limiting words before. I’d love to hear you talk about them in light over everything going on now. What limiting words should we keep an eye out for now?34:00 - What do you think the Games will (or should) look like this year?37:00 - What have you found yourself missing the most since we’ve started locking-down?Subscribe on Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2lCdeWbSubscribe on Google Play: https://goo.gl/VPYj3GSubscribe on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/yamjhwl8Grab the book: http://amzn.to/2vSjU4qChasing Excellence is a show dedicated to dissecting what it means to live a life of excellence, both inside the gym & out.
