Description

CrossFit is taking the world by storm! Is it a modern craze or is there something deeper — even traditional — about it? Join me and Nathan Brammeier, blogger/podcaster at ReThinkTrueHealth and owner of CrossFit Adventure in Concord, California, as we get to the bottom of this and more.
We’ll discuss what CrossFit is, why you might consider it for your own exercise program, how to get started, and even a look at the popular Paleo diet among CrossFitters.
Get to know Nathan and CrossFit through the links and information below, and of course through this podcast. Plus… the tip of the week!

Listener Question
Lara asks:
“I had an awful reaction to Ultimate Flora Women’s Probiotic 15billion, and after reading one of your articles I stopped taking it because I realized that the die-off was way too much all at once. I had migraines and fatigue for 6 days until I stopped taking them. My brain felt like it was inflamed. Now the headaches are almost gone but I feel so sick and nauseous and bloated. I threw up this morning. So I want to continue with probiotics but I’m nervous with what amount I should start with. Can I open up the capsules? And what do I do with the powder once it is open? Also, I read about neurotoxicity and that freaked me out. Could that happen with taking probiotics?
Any help would be appreciated. I’m so glad I found your site, I will be following your guidelines the best I can!”
