To God, for giving me life and showing me how much he loves and cares for me since my creation. Without him, nothing would have been possible.

To my youngest son, Jacob Alexander Reyes, twin of his sister Laurent J. Kings. Since they fell into my womb I had a threat of abortion that led to the birth being brought forward and seven months were born. The boy had complications at birth, he needed to receive resuscitation and was under observation, and this episode taught me what true mother’s love is, to see how you can in an instant lose a being you love so much.

To his twin, Laurent, who teaches me new things every day and gives me that love that I sometimes looked for in the wrong people. She’s me little, showing me that love that I didn’t receive in my childhood. If I’m sick, she becomes my nurse; and if she sees me crying, she wipes my tears and says: Mommy, I’m here to take care of you. Remember that I’m going to study to be a doctor, what you wanted to be.

To my eldest daughter, Crisangely Valentín, who from her birth taught me to take care of a son of everything that could harm him. I was in all his moments, I didn’t miss a school meeting or the activities, just to see how it was going and with whom I shared.
