About looking up to God…

Isaiah 38:14 I cried like a swift or thrush, I moaned like a mourning dove. My eyes grew weak as I looked to the heavens. I am troubled; O Lord, come to my aid!"

Where are you looking for answers? Where are you looking for hope, for strength, and for courage? Where are you looking for love? Where you cast your eyes makes all the difference in what you see. Normally, we look to the world around us to find what we want and need. We often look to other people to find what we want and need. When we search for answers, hope, strength, courage, and love we even look down to Satan when he brings temptation upon us. Where we must first look is up to God. When we are in trouble, we too often hang our head and look down. If we are crying because we are in trouble and we look to the world for answers, the world will give us answers. However, the world’s answers are never complete. In our times of difficulty, if we look down and look for answers in revenge and hatred we will be consumed by Satan and our trouble will multiply. When the prophet Isaiah was in trouble Isaiah looked up. In his pain, Isaiah knew where
