    Day 1.

    PRAYER GOAL: To pray in the morning.

    Let’s be honest. Prayer isn’t easy for many of us.

    As soon as we wake up, we want to go straight to our phones or see what’s on TV. Trust me when I say that I understand because I struggle with the same thing. This is why in order for us to begin the next 30 days in prayer, we must be willing to pray in the moments when we’d rather do anything else.

    For this first day, let’s pray that God would help us to go straight to Him in prayer immediately after we rise in the morning. If we pray in the morning, we’ll be more likely to pray later in the day.

    It is He who opens our eyes every morning, so it is He who we should turn our eyes to first.

    "In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice;

    In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch." (Psalm 5:3)
