Dr. Wil Chevalier

Dr. Wil Chevalier, missionary, author, coach, international speaker, and chaplain, is the co-founder and executive director of LifeBranch Institute International, a non-profit corporation dedicated to leadership development and marriage enrichment. Wil and his wife, Jacquie, travel extensively, speaking in 21 countries on six continents. The Chevaliers have authored several books, including The Agony & Ecstasy of Intimacy, More Than Love, Marriage Beyond the Garden, A Closer Walk, Embracing the Mystery of Love and Marriage, and Parenting the Coming Generation. Foreword

As his pastor for many years, I can attest that Dr. Wil Chevalier knows God through developing a deep faith in Christ, which led to a dramatic change in his life. He loves Scripture, having memorized large portions of it. His theological education and remarkable missionary ministry for over 35 years has led to the mentoring and discipling of hundreds, and they have in turn carried on similar ministries that have spread to several nations. I know of no other discipling ministry as fruitful as his.

A.W. Tozer says in his book, The Knowledge of the Holy, that the mightiest thought the mind can entertain is the thought of God, and the weightiest word in any language is its word for God. Scripture, the source for knowing God, His character, and His works, gives many names for God. Dr. Chevalier’s book, Glory in His Name, contains thirty-one meditations about the wonderful God whom Christians worship via many of His scriptural names.

The apostle Paul prays for Christians that they would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that they may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Col. 1:9, 10).
