Shaquel Ware

In this book, the author takes readers through the journey of her life. She hopes to inspire all ages and races as she exposes her struggles as a child and a young adult. She is a young woman who was born and raised in New Orleans projects. All of her life, she was surrounded by drugs and violence. Also, her past consists of the losses of close relatives, unhealthy relationships, and becoming a mother at the age of fourteen. With limited help from others, Shaquel managed to survive and conquer. She dried her tears, faced her fears, and pushed pass the obstacles. In spite of the odds that were against her, she never allowed anything to get her down. She carried many burdens and took on many responsibilities as a young lady. She believes that everything she had to endure has prepared her to live a better life. “It was a learning experience,” she says. This is a powerful story of a young woman who refused to give up on life when all the odds were against her. She allowed every situation to make her stronger, wiser, and better than before. Today, Shaquel Ware is walking in victory and living out some of her dreams. She is more than a conqueror. She is a loving and supportive mother, reaches out to young adults, a college student, a homeowner, a motivational speaker, an author, and has a stable career in the social service industry. Who can go through so much hell and through it smiling like Shaquel?

From My Heart, I Say, Thank You

F irst, I give thanks to All Mighty God and His powerful Holy Spirit. Without His Spirit and anointing, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do. He is my strength and my confidence!

Next, I want to personally thank everyone who has consistently supported my God-given talent. I thank God for my son Kenneth and my father Carl. I love you, Son! You are my everything. Words cannot express the love my heart has for you. Thanks, Daddy! You are the greatest. You have never failed me and always had my back. I love you forever! Yes, I thank God for my family and my faithful and loyal friends too. I love you, guys! You keep me going when I want to give up. Indeed, I am very grateful for my prayer warriors. I know you are covering me in prayer as I do what God has called me to do. I do not take any of you for granted. All of you have played a major part in my life, some way or another. I thank God for the people who have crossed my path and believed in me. I cannot name everyone, but I know who you are, and I am grateful that we have connected on this journey.

Last but not least, thanks to my team who made this project a success. Thanks for your patience and caring hearts. May God continue to use you to be a blessing to the world, and may all your endeavors be blessed. You are amazing! May God richly bless you!

    Sincerely,

    Shaquel Ware

    Pray First

H eavenly Father, I want to say thank you, for I am grateful for all the wonderful things you have done, and are doing, in my life. I pray you continue to use me, Lord. Use me until you use me up. Push me until I cannot go anymore. Draw me closer to you so I can always know your heart’s desire. Thanks for the favor and peace to do your will. Thank you for giving me the courage and boldness to step out in faith. Thank you for the provision for every vision you give to me. Thank you for the great team who helped to bring the vision to pass. Thank you for everyone who supports me and encourages me on my journey. Thank you for removing the distractions and keeping my focus on you. I don’t know where I would be without you.

I pray someone’s life is blessed as they read this book. I pray the Holy Spirit ministers to them. I pray they receive more than a prayer. I pray they are encouraged and motivated to run on and see what the end will be. Touch their mind, heart, and soul. Give them peace where there is confusion. Give them strength and power in the midst of adversity. Build them up in the areas where they are torn down. Keep them safe and make them strong. Carry them through every storm.

I pray their relationship with you becomes stronger. I speak blessings and favor upon them now. Use them to carry out your will. Allow them to live a purpose-driven and fulfilling life. Bless their family and friends. Protect them from their enemies. Be a fence all around them. Anoint them with your holy oil and cover them in the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them or their bloodline prosper, and every tongue that rises against them be condemned in Jesus’s matchless name. Lord, you are holy, and you are so worthy to be praised. Thank you for what you are doing right now. Have your way! In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen!

    My Heart, My Thoughts

I know how important it is to pray; I realize the power of prayer. When you pray, you feel lighter than a feather because you put your trust in God. You have laid your burdens down, and you are more confident and aware of your surroundings. Your spirit is re-energized. You feel like a fully charged battery with a lifetime warranty. Prayer is of utmost importance in my life. I have seen the manifestation of my prayers. Now, I want you to see your prayers bring forth manifestation too. Many people have questions about how to pray. Many feel and say they do not know how to pray, so they don’t, or they depend on others to pray for them. But let me stop right now and tell you that it is a lie from hell, sent by the enemy to keep you out of God’s presence. Many people are bound and believing the lies. Today, the lies must stop! I came to share some good news! Anyone, from any race and of any age, can pray. There is not a specific time, place, or right ten-step ways to pray. Do not allow negative thoughts or the intimidation of how others pray keep you out of the presence of God. Do not allow fear of saying the wrong words stop you from connecting and communicating with God. Your life depends on it. Someone you know needs your prayers. The world needs
