Before anything manifest here on earth it first must begin in the spirit realm. The only way to access the spirit realm legally is through prayer. The only way to communicate with God is through prayer. The only way to see things change in your life and the lives of others is through prayer. One of the most effective ways to defeat the enemy is through prayer. The church should be people of faith and not fear. The church should have the answers and solutions when disaster hit, yet I see so many looking to the world for answers. Hear me my brothers and sisters, Jesus is the answer and He has the solutions. One solution is prayer. How do you plan to defeat the enemy? It starts in prayer.

Introduction

In 2010 I started off on a journey that would change the course of my life forever. I was fairly new to the faith and although I proclaimed to be a Christian my entire life, nothing about me bore the fruit of a Christian. One way you can tell I struggled with my walk as a Christian was through my prayer life. I did not have one. Christians suppose to be people of faith and prayer, right?

I remember years prior to this new journey this lady prophesied over me. She said, You’re an intercessor. I asked her, What is an intercessor. She said, Someone who prays for people. I was taken back by her statement. Although an intercessor sounded good, I knew I did not pray for myself, so how in the world was I going to pray for someone else. I did not know simple terminology for words like grace. I had no clue what grace meant. How on God’s green earth was I a Christian and an intercessor and did not know what grace meant? How was I in church from a child to a teenager and did not know simple terminology when it came to the things of God?

The sad truth is I am not the only one. There are thousands upon thousands of Christians who have no clue of certain terminology when pertaining to Christianity, and there are thousands who have no prayer life.

The only way to communicate with God is through prayer. The only way to see things change in your life and the lives of others is through prayer. One of the most effective ways to defeat the enemy is through prayer.

Prayer is simply spending time with the Father. I have learned communicating with the Father daily should not be an option in the life of a Christian.

The Father reminded me of a time I did not know how to pray or what to pray. I was given a book of prayers from a stranger. I did not know this person, and as a matter of
