Chapter 1
Here I Am Signed, Sealed, Delivered—I’m Yours
You know I like the way God would use something or someone that has captured your best interests and use it for his glory. Stevie Wonder is one of my favorite artists, and this is the title to one of his songs, but it’s funny how God has taken this title to help us identify who we are in Christ. It is very important to know who you are in Christ, so that you would know that the things you do or say must be pleasing to our Lord and Savior. Let’s go to our lesson (Revelations:7–2). You see, before God sends his wrath to nonbelievers, he will first remove his children from danger. Who are his children? Those who have received the mark from God. How do I know that I have the mark? Well, first, you must give your life to Jesus, and then you must continually study the word of God so that your thoughts will be his thoughts and your ways will be his ways. Then you must learn to listen to the voice of God, not the voice of the prince of this world. You must also look at your circumstances and your situations through the eyes of God and not your carnal eyes. Last but not least, you must walk in the spirit and not in the flesh.
When these things become your lifestyle, then you will know that you have been given the mark of God. But there are some of us who think we have the mark of God
