Preface
I always knew that I was supposed to write but shrugged it aside. I was too busy to have time to do one of the things I am most passionate about—reaching others through writing what the Lord has laid on my heart. I was so caught up in the whirlwind of life that I hardly had time for it. You know what? I am finally at the place where I realize that this is one of the purposes for which I was born, and I will no longer put it aside. Whatever the Lord puts on my heart, I am definitely going to write, and I know you will enjoy reading it.
We often try to fit into normalcy even when God has a call on our lives that is not. We believe that if we can blend in with the crowd and make ourselves insignificant, God will miss us. God often does drastic things to get our attention and reminds us that even though we might trick the crowd by blending in, He never loses sight of us and the purpose He has prepared for us. God had to shake some things in my life for me to be awakened to the realization that living in my comfort zone was not for me and I was avoiding my purpose.
The Lord has interrupted my life. My plans have now become His plans, and my purpose now has to align with His purpose. Life Interrupted is no coincidence. I literally had my life interrupted when I lost my job due to layoffs at work. He used that moment to get my attention and put me on a new path, where I became more committed to His purpose for my life.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NKJV)
May your heart be blessed
