Introduction

Sometimes we seem to lose our focus and our concentration on what ministry is all about. Our emphasis tends to get twisted and our focus is no longer on lost souls but on us. Our aspiration is toward self and not the souls. We envision that preaching the Good News is all about us, how we look, how we sound, and what we are wearing, when our attention and essential focus should be about lost souls and them being born again. However, instead, we are focusing on me, myself and I. My preaching, my style, my swag, my looks, my sound, my money, my … my … my … It is not about you!

I would like to make it perfectly clear to everyone who is preaching, teaching, spreading, and sharing God’s Word: it is about winning souls to Jesus Christ and God being glorified! It has not ever and will never be about you, me, or anyone but God—about him being gloried, magnified, and lifted and about souls being saved for the Kingdom of God!

So if you are one of those individuals who think that it is all about you, what you have, or what you did, you need to think again and take the focus off yourselves and give it all to God! We say, It is not about me, but actions speaks louder than words. Don’t try to steal God’s glory!
