Grace over Darkness began with a vision that was shown to me years ago. I began to write this book because there is so much evil that appears to overrule God's grace. Evil has become good as well as good becoming evil. Grace over Darkness is meant to help many people, regardless of age. I feel if you can read, then you will understand. Hate has flooded the hearts of many, and it appears that there are few role models for the millennium generation. Families have now become divided with murders, gangs, and so much more. While writing this book, I am able to relate to all the things that I write. I pray and hope that you will allow Jesus to open your spiritual eyes and know that change can happen. You can be delivered and set free of whatever bondage you are in. Grace over Darkness stands for "GOD." It doesn't matter how much darkness you are currently in while you still have breath coming from your nostrils you still have time to make a change and join me to stand up for the Lord and His kingdom and stand for what is right. There is no need to be ashamed or held down to your past. I wrote this book because Grace over Darkness will always outshine the darkness!

Perilous Times

My name is Lawanna Price, and it is time to spread the truth of Jesus sweet words. We are currently living in the most perilous times in our history—yes, a lot of people talk about the perilous times, but by most Christian actions, it appears to be loose words. I can literally feel Jesus heart aching with all the blaspheming going on against Him. As I write this book, I pray the Holy Spirit convicts, delivers, and sends a fresh anointing upon you and His relationship. I pray that the lost will submit to Christ, knowing that it’s not only the unsaved that fall short of the glory of God but saved people do to in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Prayer

Open the flood gates of heaven, Lord, please let it rain. Let it rain as we, as your children, as a nation, are living in these perilous times. Open your flood gates, Jesus, on the darkness of this world. Open the flood gates of heaven on murder, on fatherless, motherless homes, children committing suicide, drug addicts, prostitutes, dysfunctional families, loneliness, anger, hatred, adultery, falsely accusing, child protection agencies that destroy people families’ in which they have done no wrong, against the rapists, against the drug dealers, against abusive people, against abusive words, against bullying, against sinful sexual acts, against fear, against doubt, Lord, against evil, against false prophets, against exploitation, against feelings of low self-esteem, in marriages. Lord, open up the flood gates against stealing, racism, robbery, deceit, gossiping, homelessness, bitterness, malice, rebellious children, diseases, against incest, against child molestation, against all this evil that covers the world in which you created. Lord, open the flood gates of heaven to where eyes are open, your name is exalted, against generational curses. Lord, open the flood gates and let even the sinners know that they are to be encouraged, Lord, knowing that they can come to you with open arms in including whatever state they are in, Lord, because you will make all right. Lord, open the flood gates of heaven to allow the gifts and talents to be used to edify your kingdom. Lord, open your flood gates of supernatural unconditional love. Lord, open your flood gates of heaven so that we may open the unjust as well as the unjust eyes and so that we may experience your goodness, your grace, and your mercy, Lord. Heavenly Father, please open the flood gates of heaven in our hearts, spirit, and soul in the name of Jesus, amen.

Stand tall, fight right.

Rapid increased wickedness has come upon this earth and seems to be getting worse without remorse; it seems as though in today’s society, there seems to be a scarce problem that pertains to standing up for the truth of God as well as fighting on the Lord’s battlefield as He orders our footsteps. It’s almost like there are more Goliaths than David. We being brothers and sisters in Christ, yes, we talk the talk but we fail to walk the walk of spirit-filled, authority-decreeing, victory-seeking members of Christ. Christians also seem to forget that we are to be living holy for sinners, others that are lost in the world. Yes, we’re living in the end times, yet everyone wants to do what they choose to do in spite of the Lord showing them their vision. That is a huge sign of living a miserable, unfulfilled, purposeful life (let’s remember that Satan also blesses). You have so many people in the sanctuary, appointed by God that know the calling they have on their life yet refuse to stand up and fight on the battlefield for the Lord. Nowadays, there are pastors that have decided to do what they want to do in the house of the Lord in which there is no order in the sanctuary. Some leaders of the House of God will follow their own way instead of the Lord’s way, and that is another way that Satan uses his false prophets. During these perilous times, the pastor’s congregation has become the pastor’s buddy and pastors have no order in the church anymore. It’s almost like sinners don’t respect the sanctuary nor do half want to visit, especially if that person/s are not walking into a loving atmosphere. You have people that come to church and some people in the sanctuary treat you just as worse as the people that are outside of the will of God. You have people in the church that want to volunteer but want to do it for their own selfish ambitions instead of being a blessing to the head of the church, being a blessing for God for the building of His kingdom. Friends we see what’s happening around you, and I with the naked eye, there is no way around the Book of Revelation, Deuteronomy, and Daniel. Open your spiritual eyes and see what is taking place in our world. What has happened to our leaders? What has happened to our children? What has happened to the joy of our society? What has happened to having fear for the Lord, thus says the Lord. I feel like you have to be that voice, and yes, I know that Christians are going to have to fight against the darkness and principalities of this wickedness that surrounds you and me, but that should not stop us. I will always love my Jesus. I will always fight for what’s right. My opinion is that there should come a point in your life that you should eventually get tired of not standing up for what’s right when you know that you can make a positive difference and expose the devil and his plans. We have to stop being comfortable, and yet, even when scared, it’s okay that you have a past (the Lord uses your past for your personal relationship with Him, deliverance, and most of all, for His glory). It’s perfectly fine and normal for the Lord to convict you, but the problem is when you begin to convict yourself on a daily basis; my friend, you now have Satan’s chains holding you bound. See, Satan will use his chains to keep you bound in your relationships, including your relationship with Jesus, finances, mind, including every area in which the Lord is/has blessed you; Satan will try to snatch your relationship along with the blessings God Himself has rewarded you.

Murmur and Complaining

Do everything without complaining and arguing. (Philippians 2:14)

How many of us look at the news that consist of nothing but wickedness? And yes, we may pray but we do nothing about it. When you pray and what you pray for, never forget God has given you a spirit of boldness and the simple thing would be to do something about what you complain about. See, the devil has come to your neighborhood, yet you still look and say this or that doesn’t make any sense, but at the end of the day, you will still be in that same boat. What you’re doing is watching Channel 59 news, praying and hoping that change comes, but my brother and sister in Christ, we do nothing but murmur and complain; however, the problem is still there. Why can’t we go to the devil and his territory and fight back? Spiritually, we are supposed to equip ourselves with the armor of God, but the truth is, some barely put on the whole suit of the armor of God. Guard yourselves with God’s armor. Truth be told, you use the armor of God only when going through things, and again, I say these things it is my
