The Author

Thabelo S. Mahloane is a true son of God, called for such a time as this. Originally from Lesotho, he moved to Cape Town to start the work of the Lord in January 2016. Sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, Mahloane obediently started writing. This is but the first in a myriad of books the Lord has placed in this young man’s heart. He has an insatiable passion for purity and is not very impressed with the 2016 Christian with the 1900s testimonies-of beginning in sin and ending in the Lord. Mahloane believes there is more to life than that especially in the last days when the life of purity seems impossibility for most, particularly the youthful.

Chapter 01

Know Who You Are

Genesis 1: 26-28 Then God said, Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on earth.

From the book of Genesis, we learn what and why God created everything. We discover that we were made in the image and likeness of God who gave us a command. In verse 28 of the quoted text, we find three major things God commanded us to do:

Be fruitful and multiply;

fill the earth and subdue it,

have dominion over every living thing.

This is who we are, all we have to do is assume our responsibility on earth. And then later man, because of sin, drifted from God and couldn’t fellowship with Him anymore. So the Holy Trinity decided to pursue a relationship with man and send Jesus to restore and reconcile man with the Father. Jesus came and paid for every sin under the sun and made a call to all man to accept the free gift. Whoever heeds to the call automatically has access to the Holy Spirit 24/7. So the Holy Trinity has been working in three phases; the phase where God was walking with people Himself, the phase where They sent Jesus to come in flesh and the current phase where They have sent the Holy Spirit. This is the most important era that leads to restoration of all things, where They will reign together with us. This is the time when the fullness of God dwells among us through the Holy Spirit.

Joel 2:28 states, And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old man shall dream dreams, your young man shall see visions.
