Part 1: New Hight

As I get my mind into gear,

For adventures far and near,

You prop me in position,

With mighty precision,

I sometimes catch a glimpse,

Of what you have in store,

It’s beyond a world I can imagine,

And probably couldn’t fathom,

So, I’m not keeping score,

I’ll let you do your thing,

And know sometimes,

I may cling to things that have no value,

And cause me to sin,

So, what I do is sing,

Praise and worship you King,

Knowing that the journey

Is the most important thing,

Growing in your light

Teaching me real fight,

Against the things not in sight

Taking me to a new hight.

Part 2: Ungodly Soul Tie

Soul tie let me go,

You have nothing to show,

My flesh is all that desires you,

And all that cry’s for you,

And I will never lie to you,

But I’ve found a higher love than you,

A love that’s more than life for you,

That breathes and dwells within,

Washing away sin,

So, watch me raise my chin,

As my fleshy desires slide into the bin.
