Of the Heart: When Words Cannot Be Spoken

About this ebook
OF THE HEART is a stirring reflection of a heart in repose, contemplating the music of life with its joys and sorrows, notes and rests.
I am often reminded that in music there are beautiful melodies, harmonies and movements that touch the deep; and yet, the rests and silences are just as important as the notes played.
We come away from times of solitude refreshed by stillness... with joy for the journey.
Book Reviews
Dianna Huhn has dipped into the treasury of her life to express longing, fulfillment and tribute. Of the Heart is a tenderly wrenching work of art that becomes a sanctuary of expression, both safe and hallowed. The prose and photographs capture soul-deep glimpses of love and loss, purpose and peace. It is a mosaic of brokenness reassembled into an object of beauty by a prayer, a praise, a plea, and a profound peace. You don’t just read this book -- you experience it.

Like a carefully and exquisitely crafted tapestry, Dianna Huhn bears her heart as she stands in awe at God’s wonders, His powerful and loving Words, and His immense and glorious creation.
She fondly and tenderly remembers loved ones who have gone ahead to their heavenly homes. Her memories are weaved together with brief devotionals based on selective Scriptures.
The awe inspiring photography in this book aptly reflects Dianna’s inspiring words.

OF THE HEART is a stunningly beautiful publication with a deep sensitivity in both composition and illustration. This book is a magnificent supplement to the message of the heart as this message is graphically defined by the author. Drawing from original poems composed specifically for this book, these poems are essentials to the understanding of the Divine nature of birth and life and the cosmic beauty that threads through human creation and creativity.
It would appear that the author is sustained and nurtured by the interplay between natural beauty, artistic creations, the innovative tapestry of diverse forms of communication, and a sense of joyfulness in human reflection. She draws from an inner strength and an abiding understanding of each of the chapter divisions that speak to the language of the heart, the joy of life and living, and the unspeakable essence of creative sensibility. The human requirement of love and loss is summarized in the last segments of this outstanding collection of poetry and praise.
The conclusion of this compelling book defines the separation that comes when those that we love are no longer a part of our world. The poem "I Turned to Say Good-bye" is framed with a depth of feeling and a sense of conflicted separation and assurance.
An absolutely splendid and remarkable exploration of the human quest for tranquility, natural beauty, human inspiration that is guided by peace is the true majesty and splendor of this book.
