We discover through the hearts and souls of others, that God is the only One who can restore the broken but not shattered pieces of our lives, when the road may have become too jagged for us to bare. Then He also teaches us to look back on it all and smile- counting it all joy for His glory! In essence, "Holy Spirit-Help!" simply shares the thoughts, the trials, the laughter and the tears, the seasoning of life, with the heart that longs to embrace the love that God has for His creation. It is the desire of the writer of this book to be a vessel that the Father will use , to touch the heart and soul of every reader and leave them with a sense of having tasted just a slice of sanctified excitement, available only to those who call upon His name and say, "Holy Spirit-Help!"

A Word from the Author

This book has been in the making for over 30 years. A simple compilation of the thoughts, experiences and personal revelations gathered along the writer’s (mostly my own) journey on this road we call life. It is my hope that the reader will find the stories, poems and especially the scriptures, enlightening, encouraging and inspiring. May this book stir every emotion, from tears to laughter, and provoke the reader to always remember that there is Hope in Christ Jesus and He can be found in the most unexpected places – when we call out to Him, Holy Spirit – Help!

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

God sent the thunderstorm, to wash away

my tears

While weeping may endure a night,

God commanded heavy rain to fall, to give

me time to rest

speak into my soul

Charging me to just be still and know He’s

in control

Oh Lord God Almighty, please give me the strength to go about my daily activities, interact with my fellow man, bearing the armor of, Joy - Peace - Kindness - Steadfastness

And may I be blessed forevermore with Your presence, the presence of Your angels and the Holy Spirit to guide me throughout my travels near and far, to protect me, and to keep me on the road of righteousness.

And teach me Dear Lord to love unselfishly as You love unselfishly

and to extend that love to my fellow brothers and sisters and that someday I will be qualified to say to You Jesus, and the Lord God Almighty that I Love Thee, for I have truly mastered the fostering of love in my heart, mind and soul for my lost brothers and sisters and have truly learned not to snub, or offend or to place myself in judgment of those less fortunate than I.

And Dear Lord please grant me the ultimate glory of spiritual salvation, via a clean heart, mind, soul and strong spirit, for all of my days here on earth and may I someday be blessed and gifted enough to be worthy of walking hand-in-hand, unashamed and clean of heart, mind, and soul, in the company of Your Saints and Dear Lord God Almighty may I be able to someday stand before you in Judgment and You will look upon me and be proud and say that

I am worthy, and I have earned an eternal seat among Your Blessed Children, the Children of the Lord God Almighty.
