There are periods of turmoil and peace in every life. There are seasons of wonderful closeness to God and seasons of great discouragement. Through all of it, your Father knows. He knows exactly what you are going through and exactly what you need, and He has promised to provide--provide above what can even be imagined--for the soul that trusts in Him.

No Christian's life is perfect. All struggle and stumble. All face doubts and questions. But there is a precious promise to each one--your Father knows. Everything is in His hands, and nothing is beyond His control.

The poetry contained in this book speaks not only of the joy and peace found in trusting in and walking with God but of the struggles, discouragements, and failures that must be faced in life. The subjects and moods of these poems vary, ranging from doubt to faith, from impatience to rest, from worry to trust, from fear to hope, and from death to everlasting life. But through all, the current is this: your Father, your Creator, and your Savior knows all. And great peace is found--even in the midst of this dark and ever-changing world--in clinging to that fact.
