Poem 1:

When times get tough, I look to Thee,

Praying for help when I’m in need.

And surely laughing, You say to me,

I’m always faithful to those who seek…

"I heard your prayer before you spoke,

deep in your mind, where thoughts invoke,

a cry for Me to come and help,

yet in your heart I’ve always dwelt."

"I knew you before the beginning of time;

In advance of confession, I called you Mine.

Without that calling, none choose to come,

so I kept My faithfulness with you, My son."

"Born again, you surely are,

but from up close, not from a far.

So keep your thoughts not far from Me,

and faithfulness you’ll always see!"

Poem 2:

Everywhere I go, Jesus Your all that I see,

from places that jolt my heart, to creatures that move the sea.

Everyday’s new start, Your presence is all that I need,

Nothing can pull us apart, Your Spirit’s alive in me.

Everything I do, Jesus You walk with thee,

And though the messes I’ve made,
