    WHO IS DR. ANDREW HUBERMAN?

    Andrew David Huberman was born on September 26, 1975 in Palo Alto, California. In his journey as a student and researcher he has received various degrees and awards, which have made his influence in science renowned: he received a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1998, an M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2000, and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California, Davis, in 2004.He completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford. In addition, Huberman was an assistant professor in the area of neurobiology and neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego.

    He has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function and neural plasticity, which is the ability of our nervous system to rewire itself and learn new behaviors, skills and cognitive functioning.

    In 2021, he launches his Huberman Lab podcast, which after a good while has stood out above many others. In this year it became one of the most listened podcast in the United States, on Spotify and the amount of subscribers on his youtube channel suggests the success he has achieved during his career. Huberman Lab discusses neuroscience: how the brain and its connections to the body's organs control our perceptions, our behaviors and our health. It also discusses existing and emerging tools for measuring and modifying the workings of our nervous system.
