Introduction
Hello, Reader. My name is Andrew Jackson. If you are reading this
book, you are more likely a person struggling with these topics detailed
in the title of this book.
I used to struggle with all three of these problems and even tried
medication, however medications only turn off the alarm a lot of the
time instead of addressing the actual major problems in life about which
I went to see the doctor. I would like to share with you how you can
overcome these three barriers to live a productive life in the way God
intends for us to live.
I will be sharing information within Christian and Rationalist world
views where I will contrast both views in confirming what God says
about fear, anxiety, and depression and the storms of this life so you
can say to yourself, It is well,
even in a storm.
As you go through the book many valuable tools will be given to
not only recognize each emotion, but to also be able to stand on God’s
promises when these kinds of thoughts and emotions come up due to
daily events.
Up front, I am not a doctor—I am a person who has struggled with
these problems in the past. Bibles being used will be World English
Bible, British Edition, and King James Version primarily with a Strong’s
concordance for referencing certain words.

CHAPTER1
Recognizing Fear, Anxiety and Depression With
Two Opposing World Views
In this chapter, I am going to share with you how these three feelings.
show themselves, as well as their similarities and differences. Fear
and anxiety are pretty much brothers in how they operate.
According to studies, fear, and anxiety, when they appear, produce.
the same hormones, known as cortisol and dopamine. The key to know-
ing whether it is a chemical imbalance, or a spiritual matter is simple to
discern: If a person has a healthy diet with proper vitamins and miner-
als in place, such as magnesium and they are still struggling with these.
three issues or other negative emotions, it is likely a spiritual and a
mindset matter that requires one to learn self-discipline. If a person
goes through a number of psychiatric medications on the market and is
still dealing with these same three issues, then it is also likely a mindset.
and spiritual matter.
In the Rationalist world view, this would be known as a ‘’fight or
flight response. Depression is the result after the ‘’fight or flight
mo-
ment. Prescriptions are handed out to lower a person’s dopamine level
as being an appropriate solution to lower fear and anxiety.
To get a person out of depression, stimulants are prescribed to in-
crease one’s dopamine levels.
Anxiety is the response when a person is being fearful about some-
thing of which one should not fear. A number of thoughts of what if
scenarios about situations or perceived situations pop up, whether in
the present or the future is fear’s way of getting one anxious about a
matter at hand. These situations about which one becomes fearful will
most likely not happen in the ways one imagines.

CHAPTER 1. RECOGNIZING FEAR, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
WITH TWO OPPOSING WORLD VIEWS
No pill works as promised; it just turns one’s internal alarm off and
puts a person into a stupor. If the issue is truly a chemical imbalance,
according to the Rationalist world view, people who take so many an-
ti depressants and psychotropics would be in a sound, stable mindset.
Working from this world view, many mental health professionals
prescribe medication and keep a person replaying this thought record,
inserting statements into their minds like, can’t,
won’t,
or never,
which opens the door for doubt and unbelief in their life.
Many such professionals keep their clients returning again and again,
taking many different medications until they have gained considerable
amounts of weight, and find themselves with health problems, such as
diabetes, cancer, and a number of other ailments. These medicines af-
fect more than just a person’s dopamine levels, but exhibit many other
side effects, such as affecting one’s libido and other issues that disrupt
the body’s processes that keep one healthy.
For some mental health professionals as well as some drug manufac-
turers, such treatment
is more about profit than caring for people. In
this circumstance, the first issue for which the client went to the men-
tal health professional is never resolved and the client never reaches
closure. It happened to me.
The reason for this is that the Rationalist worldview rejects that
which is spiritual and unseen. The Bible states in Ephesians 6:10-12 that
it is because they cannot perceive that which is unseen around them.
Because they have no means of detecting the unseen, spiritual things
around them, they reject it.
It takes for them a greater measure of faith to espouse a Rationalist
world view and explain away spiritual things than it does to take God at
His word, as He states in the Bible. Rationalists do choose to acknowl-
edge VHF, UHF and digital radio signals, such as WIFI, air pressure from
wind, and other things that are able to be detected by man- made devices
or what can be readily seen, such as trees swaying in the wind.
We have many man-made devices that can detect many different
unseen things. With today’s technology, we even have computer al-
gorithms that detect unseen things, as far as some human reasoning.
In some cases, such people try to develop theories to explain what has
been detected by their devices.
To the contrary, men and women of faith acknowledge that which
is unseen, as the Bible gives insight on it:
6
CONQUERING FEAR, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION & MORE
"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of
things not seen. For by this, the elders obtained testimony.
By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed
by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made
out of things which are visible."
—Hebrews 11:1-3 (WEBBE)
In another section, it is also spoken of as to the presence of unseen
spiritual beings and forces, in this instance, those aligned with the devil
and opposed to God:
"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his
might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil.
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but
against the principalities, against the powers, against the
world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the
spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
—Ephesians 6:10-12 (WEBBE)
Parapsychology shares much of the same world view as the Ratio-
nalism, however those in parapsychology do in part acknowledge that
there are things and entities generally unseen to those who rely heav-
ily on sight. Many studies have confirmed what the Bible has stated all
along.
Much of what they have acknowledged, they have renamed, such as
the invisible area around us being energy and atoms are floating in Dark
Matter, Ether, Space, with the machines that have been detecting and
measuring the same area yet, they choose to believe that humanity is the
measure and master of all things, not an infinite, all-knowing Creator
who fills all of time, space and anywhere else, even in their Multiverse
theories within quantum physics.
The first three verses of Genesis 1 and the first chapter of the Gospel
of John give emphasis on the invisible part around us, as do other sec-
tions of the Bible:
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
