CHAPTER ONE
1.) "YOUR THOUGHT: (Power of success)"
Philosophically, one of the essential characterizations of man is that he is by nature, a knowing being (Homo sapiens). And the unique essence of man, which differentiates him from other animals, is that, they can ask question about things and the world around it in order to know and function authentically in life. To know is to ask; and to ask is lifting up your thought with all enthusiasm and passion, insatiably.
The word enthusiasm according to the oxford advance learner’s dictionary is ‘a strong feeling of excitement and interest in something and a desire to become involved in it!’ This actualize that
……………………………………………………
Your attitude determines your altitude in whatever you do!
……………………………………………………
So, honestly, and with all reasonable intelligence, a man can only rise, conquer and achieve by lifting up his thoughts. Also, he can only remain weak, poor, dull and miserable by refusing to lift up his thoughts.
Dale Carnegie once said that ‘you are not what you are but what you think you are’ Think
here means to be sure; and sure
in essence, means to be confident and certain about something! Since confident leads to perseverance, then the above statement can be written thus:
………………………………………………………
You can read and retain whatever you want when you’re filled with positive thoughts and persevering.
………………………………………………………
But first, you have to know that you are a spirit and cannot function perfectly in the physical without first functioning perfectly in the spiritual! There are so many things hidden in the dark and every today’s problems lies on those hidden secrets.
………………………………………………………..
The seen don’t cause problem; it is the unseen the cause problem.
……………………………………………………….
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, teacher, founder, Christembassy, spoke on this in one of his teaching that, man is a spirit and must be abided by the guide of the spiritual laws—for the ignorance of these laws, are the causes of man’s problems
.
God himself who created you in his own image and likeness (Gen. 1:26), is a spirit and that means that you’re also a spirit being. A dog can only give birth to a dog while a goat, to a goat! No wander Myles Munroe, an international teacher, speaker, lecturer, evangelist and adviser; founder and president of Bahamas faith ministries international, Nissan, state that All things have the same components and essence as the source from which they came.
..…………………………………………………….
When you don’t have light, you blame all kind of things for your darkness.
…………………………………………………….
A young man I met in the luxurious bus on my way to Lagos told me that he could not be able to read and retain for the fact that his father’s father and all his past generations where dullard. And I recently met with a lady at Benin also, who told me that she was unable to retain all she red for the fact that she is the original copy of her dull mother!
……………………………………………………
As man (a living being), you have just two ways to think: negatively or positively.
……………………………………………………
Negative deals with the body or world system, where people base their life on how they feel or what they’ve experience; but this is very dangerous! All the negative spirit has to do is serve them a few negative experience or defeats and they are finished for the rest of their days. This is because they took their feelings and experience as their foundation. And when their faith based on their experience or feelings, they start thinking that everybody cannot make it in life or not everyone can read and retain. It’s a lie!
On the other hand, the positive deals with the spiritual, where people base their life on the word of God and their feelings or experiences never changes what they believe or how they act.
If all things are perfectly and better maintain by the source from which they came, then, to function accurately, as a spirit, you have to follow and work with the principle provided by the founder and maker of the spiritual—God! This he gave in the Bible.
The word ‘Bible’ came from the Greek word ‘Biblia’ which means ‘books’ so, the bible is really a collection or library of many books written by God via his loyal servants that serves as vessels onto his honor. It contains the outright principle and laws for man as a spirit to function judiciously in life.
…………………………………………………….
Just as poverty, sickness and all sort of problems and diseases comes from the spirit world to attack man in the physical, so does the problem of reading and retaining; to destroy, discomfort and frustrate man in examination condition and
