The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith! And the Lord said, If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you." (Luke 17:5-6)

In this verse, the Lord Jesus Christ is telling His Disciples that, it is not ‘more faith’ that they needed, but instead, what they needed to have was the ‘right kind’ of faith, then they could make things happen for them!

In Matthew 10:28, Jesus commands His followers to not be afraid of those who can only kill the body, but to fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell. This scripture teaches that trusting in the Lord is comfort and safety, while fearing man is a snare and a weakness.

Therefore, I pray that with the inspiration and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT, as you go through this guide, you will gain the knowledge and power to shift your focus from the FEAR of man, and the circumstances of this world, to having ‘Mustard-Seed’ FAITH in God and His Word.

Read Me First!

Have faith! I’m sure there have been times in your life when you have heard this encouraging phrase said to someone who is going through a crisis, facing a difficult situation, or dealing with some type of anxiety... But, ironically enough, most people who will say to someone, ‘have faith’, as well as some of those who will say, I have faith, in reality, does not ‘know’, or don’t have a ‘good understanding’ from the Holy Scriptures, just what it really means to have faith; the ‘right kind’ of faith as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as ‘what’ else there is, that also goes along with it. By the same token, there are those who will say: "If I had MORE FAITH, I could do this, or I could have that". To be sure, these people also, does not have a ‘good understanding’ of what it means to have ‘faith’ in God and His Word… Read what the Lord has to say about this. For example, in Luke 17:5-6, The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith! And the Lord said, If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you." As you can see, in this verse, the Lord Jesus Christ is telling His Disciples that, it is not ‘more faith’ that they needed, but instead, what they needed to have was the ‘right kind’ of faith, then they could make things happen for them! You see, FAITH is ‘real’… But, as you will learn, farther on in this book, you must have the ‘right kind’ of faith, as well as, applying the ‘other acts’ that goes along with it, in order to make FAITH work for you also. Just as the Lord intends for it to do… And, just as it does for me, and others who put their faith and trust in God and His Word! To be sure, when you ‘pray’ and ‘believe’ God for something, you want to have ‘confidence’ that what you are doing is in accordance with His Word and His will, and most importantly, have ‘confidence’ that He will ‘answer’ you, and grant you what you are believing Him for. So, with that in mind, and the fact that, like some people, you either lack faith, or lack ‘understanding’ in your faith, or your faith may be weak, or waning, this is the book for you!

Moreover, in view of the 'stress', 'worry' and 'uncertainty' arising out of all that is going on in our world today, I felt compelled to write this book, as a testimony and guide to the OVERCOMING, FEAR DESTROYING, and MOUNTAIN-MOVING power of 'mustard seed' FAITH in God and His Word and the other ‘acts of faith’ that goes along with it.
