Clarissa Winston?

The doctor’s voice alone makes me tingle down there. And that’s not to mention how handsome he is from head to toe.

He stands there holding a clipboard. Then he glances down at everyone sitting in the waiting room and calls my name again. Clarissa Winston? His voice is deep and commanding, but there’s a soothing touch to it. I don’t know how to describe it, but it gets me feeling turned on. I’m sitting there like a deer in headlights.

I feel my heart fluttering, it starts to beat like a drum. God, he’s freaking hot, and his good looks are making me feel all sorts of shy. I can’t even speak up to say hello or stand on my feet. I’m supposed to walk over to him and get my physical done. I’m just here for a routine checkup, and somehow I feel like I’m frozen in my seat.

Finally, I stand up on my shaky legs and walk towards him. I’m smiling nervously. Hi, I say. I’m Clarissa.

He smiles back at me. Nice to meet you. I’m Doctor Matt. Follow me, please.

He leads the way like a true alpha down the long hallway until we reach the end of it. When we do, we go into a room. It’s brightly lit and has a big doctor’s examination seat in the center.

Have a seat, Clarissa, Doctor Matt waves a hand.

I plop my big butt down on the seat. I can feel myself blushing. Goodness gracious, up close he’s even better looking. He’s got a jaw so sharp it would make a male model jealous, a head of wavy hair that’s thick and luscious, blue eyes that seem to stare into my soul, and shoulders so wide they look like they belong on a football player.

Hot as can be, isn’t it?

Yes, you are, I nod my head, grinning from ear to ear – then I realize the doctor is talking about the weather.

My face turns blood red. He laughs and says, Well, you just made my day, sweetheart. He gives me a little wink and adds, I have to say, you’re pretty hot yourself. But I should try to keep acting like a professional instead of hitting on my cute patient, right? He grins and shakes his head, then gets down to business. Okay, tell me – any problems, questions, concerns?

Umm...

I mean, health wise.

Oh, no. I’m okay, I say, still grinning like a girl with a crush.

That’s good to hear. Just needing a regular ol’ checkup, huh?

Yeah.

Alrighty. Let’s get to it, then, he says cheerfully. He’s got such a laid-back demeanor, but I can imagine him being so commanding at times. His voice is so deep and magnetic, and his eyes can look so stern. And yet, right at this moment, they look so sweet to me. He’s putting on his gloves and staring at me, grinning a little bit, like someone who’s got a secret. I can’t help but grin back at him as he stands up and grabs his stethoscope to examine me.

He checks me all over, doing the usual routine that doctors do, including my heartbeat, lungs, ears, mouth, you name it. He’s so soft with his hands, so gentle to me with his deep voice.

So where are you from?

Tennessee. How’d you know I wasn’t from here?

That accent is a dead giveaway, he chuckles.

Aw, I hate my accent. I tried to hide it, I giggle.
